UFC 6 Is Finally Up for Pre-Order

UFC 6 Is Finally Up for Pre-Order

EA SPORTS UFC 6 is now official, and the wait is almost over for fight fans who have been ready for the next big step in the series.

The new game is listed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with pre-orders already live through EA’s official page. EA lists the release date as June 19, 2026, at 3 PM UTC, which places the launch at 11 AM ET and 8 AM PT.

This is not just another yearly sports release. UFC games do not come out every year, so a new entry brings more attention. EA SPORTS UFC 5 arrived in 2023, which makes UFC 6 the first new main game in the series in nearly three years. That gap alone gives fans a reason to look closely at what EA is offering this time.

What We Know About UFC 6

UFC 6 is being sold as a base game for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. EA’s page does not list a PC version for the launch. That matters because many players were hoping the new game would finally reach more platforms. For now, the official store page only points to PlayStation and Xbox.

EA describes UFC 6 as a game “powered by fighters.” The official page says the game brings evolved striking and motion systems, along with new game modes built around more personal fight stories. That gives a clear hint about where the focus is: sharper movement, better Octagon feel, and more reason to care about each fight beyond just winning a match.

What Comes With the Standard Edition?

The Standard Edition includes the base game for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S. Players who pre-order it also get the Iconic Moments Bundle, which includes three fighter skins. EA says this pre-order offer applies to new purchases and requires an EA account, internet connection, and all game updates to claim and use the content.

That means the Standard Edition is the clean option for players who just want the game and the basic pre-order bonus. It gives access to UFC 6 without adding the extra passes, cosmetic items, or early access perks tied to the higher edition.

Ultimate Edition Adds the Early Start

The Ultimate Edition is the bigger package. Its biggest selling point is seven days of early access from June 12 to June 18. EA states that digital early access begins on June 12, 2026, at 11 AM PT, which is 2 PM ET.

This edition also includes the Fighter Pass, which adds eight UFC Legends. EA says two will be available at launch, while six more will arrive later. The Ultimate Edition also includes an Expansion Pass with two expansions planned for Winter 2026 and Summer 2027. EA says those expansions will include a new mode and more.

On top of that, the Ultimate Edition includes a VIP Pass with five fighter skins, six VIP cosmetic items, three VIP emojis, and progress boosts and rewards. It also includes the Rivalry Bundle, which gives two fighter skins and 500 UFC Points.

Cover Stars Bring Extra Heat

EA’s official store page shows Max Holloway on the Ultimate Edition artwork and Alex Pereira in UFC 6 promotional art. Both names carry real weight with UFC fans. Holloway has long been one of the most loved action fighters in the sport, while Pereira brings a striking-heavy style that fits well with EA’s focus on evolved stand-up and motion.

That pairing also makes the marketing feel smart. Holloway brings history, personality, and fan love. Pereira brings power, danger, and highlight-reel energy. For a game built around impact, movement, and big moments, both choices make sense.

What Makes UFC 6 a Major Return

The main reason UFC 6 is trending is simple: it finally gives fans a date, a platform list, and a clear pre-order path. There is no need to guess about the launch anymore. The game is set for June 19, 2026, with early access starting June 12 for Ultimate Edition buyers.

The bigger question now is how much the new systems change the feel of the fight. EA has confirmed evolved striking, motion updates, and new modes, but the real test will be how those changes play once fans get their hands on the game.

For now, UFC 6 looks like a major return for the series. It has a clear launch date, strong cover energy, two editions, early access, and a long post-launch content plan. For players who have been waiting for the next full UFC game, the countdown has officially started.
