National Burrito Day Deals You Can Use on April 2, 2026

Some food holidays come and go without much reason to care. National Burrito Day is not one of them. This year, the best move is keeping it tight and sticking to the offers brands have actually posted themselves.

National Burrito Day falls on Thursday, April 2, and several chains are running confirmed deals, from straight BOGO offers to free burritos, bowls, and app-only perks.

Chipotle turns the holiday into a bigger play

Chipotle is not doing a simple walk-in discount for everyone. Instead, it brought back its Burrito Vault game for Rewards members. Players who guess the burrito order combo can win prizes that include free burritos for a year, a BOGO entrée, and free double protein.

That game runs from March 30 through April 1, with play starting at 9 a.m. ET each day. On National Burrito Day itself, Chipotle is also offering a $0 delivery fee on digital orders placed through the Chipotle app or website.

That means Chipotle’s deal is best for people already using the app and willing to play for the better reward before ordering. The guaranteed part is the $0 delivery fee on April 2. The BOGO angle depends on unlocking it through the Burrito Vault.

QDOBA goes big with a free burrito or bowl

QDOBA is running one of the clearest offers of the day. Rewards members can get a free burrito or bowl when they buy an entrée and a drink.

The offer is valid on April 2, works in restaurant and online, and excludes quesadillas. The free item has to be equal or lesser value.

What makes this one easy is that QDOBA says the reward will be added automatically to the Rewards Wallet on April 2. So there is no code hunting and no guessing game. You just need the rewards account, the qualifying purchase, and the order placed through the approved channels.

Moe’s keeps it simple with BOGO

Moe’s is taking the direct route. Its official National Burrito Day page says that on April 2, at participating locations, you can buy one burrito or bowl and get a second burrito or bowl on the house, excluding taxes and fees.

Another official Moe’s offer listing describes it as a BOGO on burritos and bowls tied to participating locations.

This is the kind of deal people usually want on a day like this. No game, no delayed coupon, no complicated reward ladder. Just make sure the location is participating before you go.

California Tortilla saves the value for your next meal

California Tortilla is doing it a little differently. Anyone who orders a burrito or bowl on Thursday, April 2, whether in store, online, in the app, or through third-party ordering, gets a $10 coupon toward the next burrito or bowl.

The coupon is valid from April 3 through April 17, and the chain says it is limited to one per person.

So this is not the best pick for someone chasing an instant same-day discount. It does work nicely if you already planned to order and do not mind turning one burrito run into two.

El Pollo Loco puts its BOGO on select burritos

El Pollo Loco is also in the mix with a BOGO, but it is tighter than some of the others. On April 2 only, Loco Rewards members can buy one à la carte burrito and get one free from a select group: Chicken Guacamole, Chipotle Guacamole Chicken, or Queso Guacamole Chicken.

The offer does not cover the BRC Burrito or the Classic Chicken Burrito, and it does not work on third-party delivery platforms.

This one is solid if those are already the burritos you order. If not, QDOBA or Moe’s may feel less restrictive.

What matters before you place the order

The smartest play is checking two things before checkout: whether the offer needs a rewards account and whether third-party delivery is excluded. QDOBA and El Pollo Loco both tie the deal to rewards membership, while Chipotle’s holiday perk is limited to its own app and site for the $0 delivery fee.

Moe’s also limits its BOGO to participating locations, and California Tortilla’s value comes back as a later coupon instead of an instant discount.

If you want the easiest same-day win, Moe’s and QDOBA stand out. If you want a second visit lined up, California Tortilla has a good bounce-back offer.

If you already live in the Chipotle app, the Burrito Vault and free delivery give you a reason to stay there.
