Mickey’s Halloween Party Is Back

Mickey’s Halloween Party Is Back

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning to Magic Kingdom in 2026, and Disney has now shared the first official details guests need before planning a fall visit. The after-hours Halloween event will run on select nights from August 7 through October 31, 2026, with a separate admission fee required.

This is one of Walt Disney World’s biggest seasonal events because it brings the Halloween fun into Magic Kingdom without making the night feel too intense for families. Disney’s official announcement confirms themed entertainment, character greetings, trick-or-treating, food and drinks, photo moments, party merchandise, and ride surprises.

The 2026 Dates Are Already Out

Disney has confirmed the full party date list, so planning can start early. The August dates are August 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, and 30. September dates are September 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, and 29. October dates are October 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, and 31.

August parties fall on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. September follows the same pattern, with one Thursday date added on September 24. October has the most dates, including Halloween night on Saturday, October 31.

When Tickets Go On Sale

Tickets will go on sale first on May 5, 2026, for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green.

All other guests can buy tickets starting May 12, 2026. Disney also says prices vary by date, and discounts will return for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.

Disney has also reminded guests that party dates often sell out. That matters most for late October dates, weekends, and Halloween night, which usually draw strong interest because they sit closest to the holiday.

Party Hours and Early Entry

The party officially begins at 7:00 PM, but guests with a party ticket can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM. That gives ticket holders up to eight hours inside the park, which is a big reason many guests treat the event as a full evening plan rather than a short add-on.

What Disney Has Confirmed for the Party

Disney says Stitch will host a new dance party at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland with Lilo and Angel. The theme will change during the night as Stitch tries on items from Lilo’s Costume Trunk. The Cadaver Dans are also returning in 2026.

Trick-or-treating is also part of the event. Disney says guests can collect candy at more than a dozen locations marked on the party map. Cast members will hand out Mars Wrigley favorites, including M&M’s, Snickers, and Starburst. Complimentary treat bags will be given to guests, including adults.

Characters, Parade, and Fireworks

Character greetings will include Sally and Jack Skellington. Mickey and Minnie will greet guests together at Town Square Theater in Halloween costumes, while Pooh will appear in his bumblebee costume. Disney also mentioned royal couples such as Ariel and Eric, and Aladdin and Jasmine.

Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade is also returning. Disney says the parade will take place at 8:15 PM in 2026, giving younger guests more time to enjoy it earlier in the night.

The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular is back, too, with Winifred, Sarah, and Mary joined by Disney Villains such as Hades, Cruella De Vil, Jafar, Dr. Facilier, and The Evil Queen. Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular will also return, hosted by Jack Skellington, with castle projections, fireworks, and characters such as Ursula, The Queen of Hearts, and Oogie Boogie.

Conclusion

Disney says the 2026 Foodie Guide, full merchandise details, ride overlay list, photo opportunities, and more entertainment updates will be shared later.

For now, the confirmed details already give guests enough to choose a date, watch ticket sale timing, and plan around the party’s main entertainment.
